NEBULA
the Arts Access Victoria pod

“Nebula is a revolution in inclusive design. As Australia’s first portable arts space created with the needs of artists with a disability at the centre of its design, the Nebula studio adapts to the art and the artists.
By placing the needs and intentions of the artists at the centre of its function, Nebula can be transformed into a gallery, workshop / seminar space or performing arts venue. In each capacity, Nebula accommodates any type of creative work produced by artists with a disability, offers opportunities for creating site-specific work, and can be used as a communal meeting place. Through this space, artists with a disability can inject their work into the mainstream arts
community.” - Arts Access Vic
This state of the art venue will be launched on Monday, March 5 at 6:00 pm in conjunction with ACMI’s William Kentridge: Five Themes exhibition and will showcase animations made by the artists, as inspired by Kentridge’s prolific work.
Nebula will be open to the public from March 5 to March 10, 2012. Times may vary. For further information and to see the full Nebula program at ACMI, please visit http://www.acmi.net.au/nebula.aspx
