Construction is soon to start on the Borogove House. The house uses our recently released prefabricated house product [quon]. The house has received an 8 star energy rating which will make it one of the most energy efficient houses in Australia. Current Victorian legislation requires only a 5 star rating.

It is not just an efficient structure though. The Borogove house is a completely self sufficient, off the grid house. Solar panels provide all of the power necessary throughout the year while roof water is collected and grey water will be recycled. A composting toilet further reduces the impact on the surrounding environment and water supplies.

When the Borogove house is completed it will be one of the greenest modern houses in the world.
